Hutchinson Heinemann acquire UK & Commonwealth rights for CHILD AND GOD

Kevin Quinn

Child and God

Hutchinson Heinemann have acquired UK & Commonwealth rights for Kevin Quinn’s debut, CHILD AND GOD, from ICA’s Sharmaine Lovegrove. It is a searing story of family and the terror of salvation, switching perspective between an unnamed brother and sister growing up in a Pentecostal Christian household in 1990s Detroit.

Heinemann commissioning editor Dredhëza Maloku said: “I knew I was reading something special from the very first line, immediately pinned to the page by Quinn’s electric, precise prose. I have no doubt that Child and God will become a modern classic, and that Quinn has a rich career ahead of him.”

US, UK and Commonwealth rights are no longer available but we are sharing with international publishers for consideration in other languages.
