Mother Made Me

Cardinal (Hachette) have acquired US rights for Niamh Mulvey’s MOTHER MADE ME, a Patricia Highsmith-inspired novel: "not a whodunnit, or a howdunnit, but a whydunnit and a who-knows-whodunnit". The book follows a 60-year-old crime writer, Pat, whose mother has ruined her life with unceasing cruelty and self-obsession. So Pat decides to take drastic action…

Reagan Arthur acquired rights in auction from ICA’s Sallyanne Sweeney. MOTHER MADE ME is to be published in Winter 2027.
