Samar Hammam represents ICA’s translation rights in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland through her agency Rocking Chair Books Literary.
Based in London, she has extensive international experience in publishing. Before founding Rocking Chair Books Literary and building her own list of authors, she was a Director at Toby Eady Associates and worked in New York as a scout with Linda Clark Associates.
She is committed to ensuring that ICA’s authors reach readers in translation across multiple markets and is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships between writers, agents, and publishers worldwide.
