Eleanor Flegg is a writer based in Dublin.

She is a design journalist, an autism advocate on TikTok, and a Hennessy Literary Award winner. She has worked as a picture framer in Jerusalem, a political writer for the Tibetan Government in Exile, and goatherd on a Steiner commune.

Currently, she holds a PhD in craft history from the University of Ulster (2012) and her academic writing is published by Bloomsbury Academic Press. She writes two weekly columns for the Irish Independent and is a regular contributor on RTÉ Lyric FM. Her episodic fiction podcast, The Spinning Master (2020), attracted listeners from across the world.

 Her novel, Wind of Assault and Magic, is a dark fairy tale.
