Jane McLoughlin

Jane McLoughlin was born and raised in the USA, but has spent most of her adult life in England.

A former teacher, her novels for young people were nominated for various awards, including the Carnegie Award and the Branford Boase Prize.

The Perfect Couple, published by Lume/Joffe books in March, 2024, is her adult fiction debut.

She has appeared at various literary festivals including the Edinburgh Book Festival, Bristol Crime Fest, Bloody Scotland and Iceland Noir.

She has two grown up children, and lives in Brighton.
