Jeananne Craig is a journalist and author from Derry.

Her debut novel, Some News, has been shortlisted for the Comedy Women in Print Prize 2025 in the Unpublished Novel category. Her writing has also appeared in the Guardian, the Sunday Times, the Irish Times and Grazia magazine. 

Jeananne's interviewees have ranged from four UK Prime Ministers, to Kim Kardashian. She has also hosted events including the series two and three premieres of 'Derry Girls' in her hometown, and appeared as a contributor on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.

A former winner of the Royal Court Young Writers' Award for her play 'The Four Star Hotel', Jeananne read English at Trinity College Dublin, followed by a postgraduate in Newspaper Journalism at City University London, studying with a Scott Trust Bursary from the Guardian Media Group.
