She has written multiple original works often based on her own experiences, including short stories “Deodorization” and “Quarter Life Crisis”.
She has also written poetry collections such as “The Land of Morning Calm: An EP”. She is especially drawn to semi-surrealistic works that address social issues – particularly around gender and race – or have philosophical, psychological, or moral messages.
She recently graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. During Jina’s time in school, she was nominated for the 2025 Peter Rotter and Teague-Melville essay awards for her research paper “The Role of Deception and its Evolution in the Original and Remake ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’’.
