Seo Park
Agent
Seo, shortened from Seoyeon, is ICA’s Literary Agent for Korea. Based in Seoul, she represents Korean authors and publishers, introducing distinctive, boundary-pushing voices to readers around the world. Before joining ICA, she worked at a Korean publishing house and earned a BFA from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Having lived in Korea, Thailand, and Canada, Seo brings a cross-cultural perspective to her work and a keen eye for stories that reflect the texture of contemporary life.
A visual artist herself, Seo has a particular love for graphic novels, picture books, and intimate, journal-like narratives that feel personal and sincere. She is especially drawn to autofiction and literary fiction that challenge convention while staying emotionally true.
Seo is passionate about uncovering Korean stories the world has yet to see. Having experienced life across Asia, Europe, and North America, she believes deeply in the global potential of Korean art and literature — and hopes to help bring its most original, unseen voices to international readers.
