Salima Saxton is an author, actor, and coach whose work explores what it means to come home to yourself.
Her debut memoir, The Year of Undoing, will be published by Penguin imprint Transworld, born from a Moth story she performed that went viral and gathered millions of views on Instagram and TikTok. The book challenges glossy notions of transformation, offering instead a raw, irreverent portrait of change: “Change isn’t romantic. It’s muddy, brutal, and, at times, absurd. It’s about undoing. And on the other side? It turns out, there’s you.”
With a voice that is both unflinchingly honest and wryly funny, Salima has built a growing audience who turn to her work for its blend of grit, wit, and warmth. She is currently at work on her first novel.
She lives down a quiet country lane with her family — and Tigger the cat — where her happiest hours are spent by the fire, on the trapeze, or tailing her teenagers.
